Clay Field Therapy
Clay Field Therapy® is a trauma-informed, evidence-based somatic approach that facilitates healing and integration through direct, body-centered interaction with clay. This nonverbal process engages the senses and nervous system, allowing emotional experiences to surface and resolve through touch, movement, and embodied awareness rather than words.
The tactile nature of the clay provides a grounding, regulating experience that supports trauma recovery, developmental repair, and emotional regulation. It is especially helpful for children and teens, as well as adults who have experienced developmental interruptions or difficulties expressing themselves verbally.
Through this mindful, sensory-motor process, clients can rebuild inner stability, restore a sense of safety and control, and reconnect with their natural capacity for growth, balance, and self-regulation.
